God is the CEO of this ministry. All others are servants to His work and plan for this ministry. God called Garry and Carol Ford to start this ministry in early 2021. On September 27, 2023, Garry Ford went Home to be with His Saviour for eternity. Carol Ford continues in the role of Ministry Director and Administrator, overseeing the day-to-day management of Haven of Hope Ministry, and shares these responsibilities with John and Michelle Peach. There are no paid clergy or staff - everyone cheerfully serves on a volunteer basis, including all of the Leadership Team. All attendees are welcome to get involved and exercise their God-given gifts while meeting the needs of this community.

Carol Ford
Ministry Director and Administrator
As co-founder of Haven of Hope Ministry, Carol brings a wealth of experience in the areas of administration, therapeutic counseling, lay-ministry and corporate leadership.

Carol began her career teaching in French elementary schools, followed by daycare management and then entered the direct selling industry, serving in various corporate executive management positions. Carol retired from the corporate world in 2017, and returned to her love of shaping children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). She managed a home daycare for 4 years, then sold it in May 2022, to place more time and energy into Haven of Hope Ministry. She also launched a tutoring service to provide parents with alternate schooling. Maranatha Schoolhouse is independent from Haven of Hope Ministry, but is considered an integral part of serving this community.
Over the years, Carol served faithfully in church communities as a layman in the areas of Deacon Chair, Christian School Board Chair, Children's Ministry Leader, Girls' Club Leader, etc. As a Certified Therapeutic Counselor since 2012, Carol has helped numerous individuals and couples through her prayer-based counsel to help realign themselves with God's will for their lives.

Garry and Carol, co-founders of this ministry, were happily married since 1983, and loved doing full-time ministry together during Garry's final 2 1/2 years until he was called to his eternal Home on September 27, 2023. They are blessed with 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren. Garry's legacy as the founding Pastor of Haven of Hope will be forever remembered and treasured by all who were blessed by his shepherding love.
